Largest Asset Management Contract in Denmark to Date

Momentum Gruppen A/S enters into the company’s largest asset management contract in Denmark to date by taking over asset management of 81 MW across 8 wind farms in Denmark

Momentum extends the cooperation in Denmark with the German listed company Encavis AG substantially by entering into an agreement about asset management of wind turbines formerly owned by Energy Danmark A/S, which Encavis AG has just taken ownership of.

The portfolio consists of modern Vestas V100 and Siemens Gamesa SWT 101 DD wind turbines between 2-3 MW. Momentum’s role will be to manage the technical and financial management of the wind turbines, as well as advise the owners on optimum operation of the plants.

The wind turbines produce more than 214,000 MWh/year equivalent to 50,000 households’ annual consumption of electricity.

For Momentum, this means a significant expansion of the activities in Denmark and we take it as a great recognition that our individualized, independent and value-creating asset management is an asset for large institutional and professional investors like Encavis AG.

For several years we have had close and confidential cooperation with Encavis AG, and we are proud to be chosen for this task which is an ideal match for us.
