Momentum Assists Hamburg-based Investor in Establishing a Wind Farm in Sweden
Momentum Sweden has since January 2020 worked with Connected Infrastructure Capital GmbH (CiC) in the development and preparation of the wind farm Norra Hunna in Askersund.

Momentum’s scope during the assignment has been to handle the development tasks such as e.g. permits and land agreements.
Momentum has also handled the commercial management of the Swedish wind farm entity and been involved in planning and procuring the BoP.
Now the project has successfully reached an important milestone since the construction has begun. The civil works will be carried out by Veidekke. Momentum will continue the work as the local development partner for CiC in the project, and also continue to handle the commercial management for the Swedish wind farm entity. (financial reporting, bookkeeping etc.)
Once finished, the wind farm will consist of 4 WTGs with 192 meter tip height, Siemens SWT-DD-142 with 4,1 MW rated power. The total installed capacity will be 16,4 MW which will be in operation in late first quarter 2021 and provide an amount of energy sufficient for about 14.000 households per year.
“Momentum has helped us a lot in dealing with local stakeholders in Norra Hunna. We really appreciate their efforts and the progress made. Momentum has been instrumental in getting this project from late stage development to Ready to Build and in particular supporting us with their expertise related to local authorities and stakeholders”
At Momentum we value the close cooperation with CiC. CiC have been very agile and put a lot of effort into this project to be able to construct and establish the wind farm in a short period of time.
“We see that CiC is keen to explore the Swedish market even more and has a high ambition for the company and further investments in the Scandinavian market. We truly wish them the best of luck in Scandinavia and hope to continue to develop our cooperation.
Now when Momentum's Swedish organization has scaled up, we are ready to take on this kind of extensive assignments. It is a good example of how we can assist an investor and foreign company to gain success with their renewable energy investments.
I am very happy and proud of our team's effort in this project and the ability to sort out different kinds any issue that arose - both technical, commercial and financial.”
