Momentum Energy Group A/S acquires DWP Solutions ApS

With effect from January 1st, 2022, Momentum Energy Group A/S has established a new wind turbine service center through the acquisition of all activities and employees of DWP Solutions ApS in Bredebro. At the same time, ownership of DWP Solutions’ 14 Danish wind turbines will be taken over by Momentum.
With this acquisition, Momentum continues its expansion in Denmark and the company now employs a nationwide network of service technicians managing the service of wind turbines all over the country.
"DWP Solutions ApS has now reached a size where we will find it difficult to further grow the business ourselves. At the same time, consolidations between many players in the sector characterize the wind turbine industry, and as we wish to be part of the service industry for many years to come, we found the timing perfect for teaming up our business with Momentum. We already know Momentum, their turbines, and their technicians very well and it was important for us and our employees to place ourselves in a setup with great future prospects. Momentum is a very exciting growth-oriented Danish company with good ideas about how the operation of wind turbines can be further optimized, and we look forward to being part of this growth story, and to contribute and expand our services further - especially in Southern Jutland where we have strong roots."
“With the acquisition of DWP Solutions ApS, we significantly strengthen our service organization. In addition to having strong and experienced team on board, our ability to provide services to wind turbines regardless of their location in Denmark has been increased dramatically, where we are now only a short driving distance away. At the same time, we have gained a particularly strong foothold in Southern Jutland, where we operate many wind turbines. We are thus continuing our strategy of building a significant portfolio of Danish wind turbines with Momentum as service provider. With the positive market dynamics in Denmark, we aim to achieve critical mass, while also being one of the frontrunners in the profitable operation and development of end-of-initial-life wind turbines in Denmark."
