Two of the projects are larger hybrid projects combining PV solar and wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 207 MW and 107 MW, respectively. The third project application concerns the replacement of 4 existing wind turbines at Emmerlev with 4 larger recycled, but fully refurbished turbines.

"We are excited to see how the administration and the City Council assess our projects in relation to the other applications in the stack. We are confident, however, as thanks to good preparation we have been able to design our projects with a focus on plenty of green power production, synergy effects and local value creation. Tønder Municipality's high ambition for local participation fits well into our project models"

Kristian Månsson, Head of Project Development at Momentum Energy Projects

Overall, the three projects will be able to contribute significantly to the green transition. In total, the three projects will be able to generate over 420,000,000 kWh of green electricity annually, which corresponds to the annual average electricity consumption of 84,000 households of 5,000 kWh.

If all goes well, the three projects will be commissioned during 2024 and 2025.
