We have reached the Finals! Roskilde Business Award 2022
Earlier this year we shared the news that we have been nominated for Roskilde Business Award 2021/2022. This is something we are incredibly proud of. It is a huge recognition of the fact that our work within green energy makes a difference and is also noticed and appreciated in our hometown, Roskilde, Denmark.
"I am extremely honored. When I look back at where our company was just a few years ago and look at where Momentum is today - and not least looking in the direction we are headed, I am both humbled and very happy. We have worked hard to be able to say that in a time of climate change and energy crisis, we are contributing positively to the solution of these challenges. To be among the finalists for a business award that has its roots in my own hometown is surely a big acknowledgement. Today, Momentum Energy Group employs almost 100 people, of which 40 are situated in the Roskilde headquarters. We have offices in several locations in both Denmark and Germany and we continue to grow”.
"Last week, the first Momentum-developed and -owned solar park, Skjern Sol produced its first power. This facility alone generates green electricity for the annual consumption of 6,875 Danes. To this you can add the electricity that is produced by the more than 300 wind turbines owned and operated by Momentum. The production corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of almost 250,000 Danes! That our work is recognized by Roskilde Erhvervsforum fuels our continued green energy adventure. In the coming years our project pipeline adds up to more than 2 Giga Watts of clean electricity in Denmark alone".
